Wonderful Wintergreen

Wintergreen infused insoles are one of the most popular products in Releef’s insole product line.  Our cushioned insoles bring the pain relief, but what about wonderful wintergreen?   After all, it’s our infusions that really set Releef Direct Solution’s insoles apart. 

Wintergreen is an essential oil derived from the leaves of the wintergreen plant. It is also known as teaberry, deerberry, mountain tea, and wax cluster, and is the state herb of Maine.  You might be more familiar with wintergreen in its chemically synthesized form, methyl salicylate.  This gift of the earth has been used for a variety of purposes for centuries. 

You’ll find wintergreen oil and methyl salicylate in many popular products.  But our wintergreen infused insoles are the first of their kind!  Wintergreen is considered safe and effective for topical use.  Wintergreen’s signature scent is considered minty, although wintergreen is not in the mint family.   (It’s a small shrub native to North America).

Wintergreen infused insoles smell amazing!  And who doesn’t need to have better smelling tootsies?  Our insoles are antimicrobial to begin with, so you know that smelly feet have no chance against these amazing insoles.

You certainly won’t confuse our sore feet solution with any other insole on the market today.  With cooling wintergreen in your insoles, you’re really going to Feel the Releef.   But please don’t eat those insoles, because while wintergreen berries are edible, wintergreen oil is poisonous.
